What is the OAMR Strategic Plan?
The Oregon Association of Municipal Recorders (OAMR) is embarking on our first ever strategic plan that will chart the course for where we want to go as an organization for the next five years.
The OAMR Strategic Plan is our shared roadmap with defined goals and actions to guide our organization. The process also results in an action plan for us to reach those goals together and measure our progress.
Rooted in our mission and values, this strategic plan will shape the way our organization will look, feel, and support members for years to come. It will influence the structure of our organization, training opportunities we provide, design of conferences and other events, and how the municipal recorder role is viewed in our government organizations and beyond.
The most important part of this strategic planning process is YOU! Your ideas, thoughts, and inspiration about what could make our organization even better are needed now.
Join us as we embark on this journey together!
Why are we doing this now?
As OAMR membership continues to grow and the municipal recorder profession continues to adapt to changing needs in our communities, we have the exciting opportunity to envision the future of our organization
We want to know how you, our valued members, want to see our future. With this, we can create a five-year roadmap that reflects your ideas and priorities for how we guide the growth and changes of our organization.
The OAMR Strategic Planning Task Force is overseeing the project and represents the perspectives of our diverse membership. Being inclusive is a guiding principle of this project and we will ensure everyone has an opportunity to share ideas and shape the future of OAMR.
How can you participate?
Share your ideas and get involved in shaping the future of OAMR!
