Promote educational opportunities among OAMR members by providing
articles in the OAMR Newsletter and on information on the OAMR
Website.

Obtain list of deadline dates from newsletter editor

– Northwest Clerks Institute Registration Information

Fall Newsletter –
Recap of Northwest Clerks Institute Summer Sessions
- Work
with the OAMR Conference Committee to schedule new City Recorder
training sessions at each of the annual conferences.

Confer with First Vice-President at the first Conference
Committee meeting – generally held at the League of Oregon
Cities annual conference site - November.

Work with Committee members to secure facilitators for the
session.

Develop an OAMR resume form to assist the City Recorder in tracking
educational sessions and professional development activities
necessary for certification.

Post the OAMR resume on the web site.
Northwest
Clerks Institute
-
Committee chair will serve as the OAMR representative to the WMCA
Education/Professional Growth Committee to assist in the review of
the Institute curriculum and evaluations. Meetings held in
Washington state.

September – Contact WMCA President to request meeting
information be forwarded.

Attend meetings as scheduled – prepare report of meeting for
President.

Contact OAMR members attending Northwest Clerks Institute for
additional evaluation information.

Obtain list of attendees and send request - August

Provide Northwest Clerks Institute information to the OAMR
newsletter editor and OAMR web mistress.

Education
for Local Government Officials
- Assist
the OAMR President on coordination of the League of Oregon Cities
booth and assistance in any educational sessions at the League’s
annual conference.

League of Oregon Cities Conference – November
- Assist
the OAMR President in facilitating educational sessions and
promoting OAMR among various affiliate organizations such as the
Oregon Mayor’s Association (OMA), Oregon Municipal Finance Officer’s
Association (OMFOA), and the Oregon City/County Management
Association (OCCMA).
